Why are you passionate about supporting fellow teachers?
I believe the team that you work with is important to both your success and the success of your students. I remember feeling like I needed more support from my team and not knowing how to ask for it.
Why do you love working for NNPS?
I love working for NNPS because it always feels like we are looking for ways to improve! Students change, practices eolve, and NNPS seems to support us all moving forward, not staying in the same spot!

What do you love most about teaching?
Though I love my content area, the students are the best part. Having them experience new things, learn while they are with you while you, and getting to know them and their personalities is the best part of the job.
What is the best way to describe your classroom on a typical day?
Lighthearted. I take what I do very seriously and do it the best I can, but at the end of the day we are teaching kids and sometimes that requires going with the flow and realizing that you can make or break their day so don’t let a mood stop you from getting through to them and teaching.
